General terms and conditions
preamble
The WEISS offers prospective ethics and CSR training programs and courses, ethics and CSR consulting, as well as their implementation, the execution of ethics and sustainability checks including analysis, the organisation of ethics conferences, MBA Applied Business Ethics, establishing an ethics platform for business, politics, media, law, environment, education and social foundation of business ethics clubs "WEISS" with fostering experience exchange.
The "general terms and conditions" are an integral part of work and freelance contracts, which involve the professional conduct of the Wirtschaftsethik Institut WEISS GmbH offered courses, including certifications and accreditations.

§ 1 Scope
These terms and conditions apply to the entire preamble of above mentioned training courses and seminars organised by the "WEISS - Wirtschaftsethik Institut WEISS GmbH". With the registration to the training and further education courses offered by "WEISS", the general terms and conditions shall be deemed to have been accepted .
§ 2 protection of intellectual property / copyright / usage rights
The paid or unpaid disclosure  of course notes from the  "WEISS - Wirtschaftsethik Institut WEISS GmbH" to third parties is only permitted with the written agreement of the  "WEISS - Institute for Business Ethics St. Georgen/Längsee".

The "WEISS - Wirtschaftsehtik Institut WEISS GmbH" retains the copyright to their services.
§ 3 Registration
Each registration (in writing or by telephone) is binding and valid as a reservation. For organisational reasons, an application by the agreed deadline is necessary, otherwise participation can not be guaranteed. Compliance of the application process described is required.
The  "WEISS - Wirtschaftsethik Institut WEISS GmbH" is entitled, without prejudice to the legal provisions, withdraw from the training programme with good cause. In particular, an important reason could be that the minimum number of participants for the course is not reached, the lecturer for the course  is not available or the course can not (no longer) be performed for other important reasons. In this case, the fee will be refunded. Further claims for participants do not exist. Course materials and coffee breaks are included in the course costs. Lunch and dinner as well as living expenses are to be paid separately at the reception at the Hotel Stift St. Georgen. Use of addresses: By subscribing to the training and continuing education courses and consultancy services offered by WEISS, you agree that your data can be used by WEISS for marketing and promotional purposes. You may at any time withdraw use for these purposes with a written objection. Photo credits: You agree to be photographed at WEISS events and seminars and that these photos media can be used for posts in social media or in print .

§ 4 Deregistration
A cancellation can be made up to two weeks prior to course commencment without penalty, thereafter 20% of the course fee will be charged.  In the event of naming a replacement participant, no penalty will be charged .
§ 5 Fee 
The amount of the fee depends on the price listed in the latest prospectus for each seminar. Fees for tests or other fees will be invoiced separately where necessary.
§ 6 Course confirmation
The issuing of the course confirmation takes place at the end of the seminar, if at least three quarters of the seminar has been attended and the seminar fee has been paid in full.

§ 7 Payment

The terms of payment are specified on the application documents. In the event of delay in payment,  interest at the statutory rate (4%) will be charged. Collection expenses arwill be charged to the participant.
§ 8 Attendments by the  "WEISS - Wirtschaftsethik Institut WEISS GmbH"
The  "WEISS" reserves the right to make attendments in the content area of the training program/​​training course, change in the number of teaching units, the participation fee , the venue, individual speakers, course dates and times in the event of changes caused by force majeure or similar, which may be required through no fault of the organisers.
§ 9 Liability
In the event of cancellation, the  "WEISS - Wirtschaftsethik Institut WEISS GmbH" are liable only for the amount paid  by the principal to WEISS.
§ 10 Place of Jurisdiction
Austrian law shall apply exclusively to the contract and its implementation. For all legal disputes, the jurisdiction of the competent court in Klagenfurt is stipulated.
In the event that individual provisions of these general terms and conditions should be invalid, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions .
§ 11 bankruptcy protection
In case of default in payment and a handing over for the purpose of debt collection, the relevant data and the balance will be conveyed to the law firm appointed by us.

Accessibility
As much as is possible, the  "WEISS - Wirtschaftsethik Institut WEISS GmbH" is committed to a barrier-free accessibility to their website. The WAI-guidelines of categories A and to some extent also AA,  are taken into account. As far as possible, technologies that make use of our site more difficult or make it impossible are avoided. Where this is not possible, we try to offer alternatives so not to exclude anyone from information. Of course, we are constantly striving to make further improvements and appreciate any suggestions you may have at  office@ethik.eu.
